Mike.iLL : Tip the Scales

MalLabel Music is back once again with yet another full length album for you on our pay-what-you-want Monday. This weeks addition in full on Glitch and Grime comes to you from Seattle, Washington’s, Mike.iLL.

Flexing that 808 to the limit with a host of grimy saws and squares bent over them, then spanked with some Hip-Hop flavor, Mike.iLL is dropping 10 fresh vibes to get freaky on the dance floor to. ‘Tip The Scales’ is straight dripping in biomechanical glitches and psychedelia for those of us who want to get our trip on to slippery machines as the bass face rolls the crowd. Mike certainly didn’t come alone in his endeavor to drop some slithery Bass Music on the world with five of his favorite pioneers in experimental bass championing some heavy hitters for the pile. Collabs include, Kozmo on ‘Clever Name For This Thing’, Subduktion on ‘Watch That Thing Go’ and SuDs on ‘That Easy’. LESHii comes in featured on the VIP mix of ‘Bounce’ while ShermGerm drops an alien atmospheric remix of ‘Chain Gang’. So much to love in this dark and gritty Glitch Hop extravaganza. Get it in ya.
